Interim Choral Conducting Positions
Windsor Symphony Orchestra Chorus – Chorusmaster
Windsor Classic Chorale - Artistic Director
The Windsor Symphony Orchestra Chorus and the Windsor Classic Chorale are currently seeking guest conductors, on a project-by-project basis for their 2008-2009 seasons. These two organizations have separate administrations but perform together frequently throughout the year. The Windsor Symphony Orchestra Chorus is a non-auditioned community adult choir that performs exclusively with the WSO. The Windsor Classic Chorale is an auditioned, 30-member chamber choir that performs three programs per season, including an Intimate Classics series concert with the WSO in the spring of 2009.
We will consider applications for individual concert projects immediately upon receipt of materials and will continue accepting applications until the conducting positions for all projects are filled. Details for each project are listed below. All candidates must indicate their availability for weekly evening rehearsals (WCC on Mondays; WSOC on Wednesdays).
Throughout the 2008-2009 season, the WSOC and the WCC are jointly engaging in an international search to fill these two part-time positions beginning August 2009.
To apply for any or all of these projects, please send a cover letter, resume, and at least three references along with an audition video/DVD to:
